Ferguson: Temporary SockPuppet Laughably Invokes "To Kill A Mockingbird"

The Drunken Bostonian just couldn't resist grandstanding the Ferguson riots. This time WILLIAM RIVERS PITT wants everybody to see how literate he is by quoting from "To Kill A Mockingbird" to imply that the "Gentle Giant" aka Michael Brown was a poor innocent like Tom Robinson in the Harper Lee novel. Here is Pitt's grandstand thread about Ferguson, “Atticus–” said Jem bleakly. One has to wonder if the Temporary SockPuppet read that line from the novel to impress teenyboppers in the Newton schoolyard. Now Pitt is trying to impress his fellow DUmmies with a completely inappropriate quote. So let us now watch WILLIAM RIVERS PITT go wildly off-base with a completely inappropriate quote to impress his fellow DUmmies in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, noting that the Pittster is posting his commentary from the lilly white woods of New Hampshire, is in the [brackets]:

“Atticus–” said Jem bleakly.

["Girly-" said Temporary SockPuppet drunkenly.]

He turned in the doorway. “What, son?” “How could they do it, how could they?” “I don’t know, but they did it. They’ve done it before and they did it tonight and they’ll do it again and when they do it — seems that only children weep.”

[Speaking of children, Temporary SockPuppet. Let's hope you never do it again.]

— "To Kill A Mockingbird," Harper Lee

[Now for the DUmmie reaction to Pitt's pathetic attempt to impress them with an INAPPROPRIATE quote...]

And tonight, we are all weeping...

[Guess what DUmmie CaliforniaPeggy, it was the ultra violent "Gentle Giant" who was shot down on the heels of robbing a store, NOT Tom Robinson.]

Oh, California Peggy, what's to become of us? So many gains I thought we'd made as a society seem to have gone up in smoke. I feel like the bottom just fell out.

[Perhaps DUmmie tbill could make amends for the ills of the world by adopting the mother of the "Gentle Giant" as a permanent house guest in his home.]

Aw, Will. What a great quote on this awful night.

[Michael Brown as Tom Robinson? Will's quote as unintentional humor.]

... I swear, this is what went through my mind since approx 9:30pm EDT last night. The whole affair reminds me of "To Kill A Mockingbird."

[Your reasoning abilities reminds me of "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test."]

The more things change the more they don't change at all.

[Wow, Pitt! That is such an original and profound thought. I never heard that before. May I copy it down, laminate it, and place it into my wallet to treasure now and forever, unto the end of time...or until the Newton school bell rings?]

Yet again, Will ... nailed it.

[You bet. Will...nailed it. And now he is hiding out in lilly white New Hampshire.]

DUmmies Discombobulated by Jonathan Gruber Video

Even the DUmmies are quite discombobulated by the shocking Jonathan Gruber VIDEO in which he boasts about how the public had to be deceived about Obamacare for it to pass and that the voters were basically stupid. The video was first posted on YouTube on Friday and NewsBusters was the FIRST major website to FEATURE it the following day. It has gone viral on the web but almost predictably ignored by most of the MSM. As to the Web, it is circulating sequite widely but some sites such as KOmmieland still refuses to discuss it. However, the DUmmies have looked at the Gruber video in two threads, Obamacare Architect Jon Gruber Says DECEIVING AMERICANS Necessary to Pass Bill and Obamacare Architect: ‘Lack of Transparency’ Helped Us Pass the Law. As you will see, the Gruber video has opened the floodgates of DUmmie animosity toward ObamaCare. What many now forget is that ORIGINALLY back in 2009 and early 2010 the DUmmies HATED the Senate version of the ObamaCare bill. However, when that version was forced into adoption due to the election of Scott Brown the DUmmies soon changed their tune into one of grudging acceptance. Publicly the pretended to be enthusiastic about ObamaCare but that was only because Conservatives continued to oppose it. However, now with the Gruber revelations, the DUmmies have relapsed back to their original animosity to ObamaCare. So let us now watch the DUmmies blast Gruber and ObamaCare in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, wondering if I mentioned that NewsBusters was the FIRST major website to feature the Gruber video, is in the [brackets]:

Obamacare Architect Jon Gruber Says DECEIVING AMERICANS Necessary to Pass Bill

[Gruber now claims he regrets saying exactly what he thought while being recorded.]
Nothing like the American policy elite showing its true colors.

[Newsflash! Conservatives NEVER believe the Obamacare BS.]

This recently-posted video (hat tip Daily Signal) shows Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber matter-of-factly stating that an honestly and simply described Obamacare would not have passed Congress. Preying on “the stupidity of the American voter” was necessary to get the bill passed. Of course, Gruber deems that to be a good thing. And similar well-intentioned policy wonks brought us bank deregulation, which ultimately produced the financial crisis, “free trade,” which is actually managed trade designed around the interests of American multinationals, and our Middle Eastern adventurism, among other things.

Gruber is yet another case study in the Upton Sinclair saying, “It is difficult to get a man to understand something if his salary depends on his not understanding it.” In Gruber’s case, a “transparent” Obamacare bill would have made the enrichment of Big Pharma and the health insurers more visible. The idea of universal healthcare, which also involves the healthy paying for the sick, is popular all over the world. Most people understand that even if they are healthy now, they can in short order be among those needing big ticket health care if they have a too-close encounter with a rapidly moving vehicle. So Gruber’s excuse ins’t just patronizing, it’s dishonest.

[Those quotes were from the leftwing NakedCapitalism website. Now to the DUmmie Peanut Gallery...]

He's also the one who said federal subsidies were deliberately left out to incentivize states to create their own exchanges. If the USSC strikes down the federal subsidies blame this guy, not the court.

[Attention John Roberts! No need to worry. Even the DUmmies will blame Gruber for the decision.]

Same sort of crap is going on with TPP most transparent my ass

[TPP stands for Trans-Pacific Partnership. I at first thought it might mean Toilet Paper Products and have something to do with the lack of it in SOCIALIST Venezuela.]

Yup. And it worked. Most people still have no idea what ACA is about.

[You have to pass the bill to find out what's in it.]

Progressives, what are we to make of this? What do you guys think of this admission by Gruber? Does it taint ACA or do we plow on despite this admission. I don't have to tell you, the right-wingers are all over this as "evidence" of ACA's illegitimacy.

[I'm calling LOUSY FREEPER TROLL on that post. Too many "tells" give it away starting with a low post count. I point this out in the spirit of helping out wannabee trolls. A true professional as your humble correspondent has NEVER been caught. BTW, I am not now nor have I ever been DUmmie IndianaGreen.]

When ACA was first introduced, I was amazed that people did not see it for the gift to insurance companies that it was.

[I was amazed that the DUmmies at first angrily opposed it but once it was passed into law pretended to embrace Obamacare only because conservatives opposed it.]

Unfortunately, unelected wiseguys like Gruber are the actual leaders of the party. It's time to repeat this again...The leaders of the party are not the politicians. The leaders of the party are, in practical fact, the unelected people who the politicians look to for advice. The fight for the soul of the party is between those advisors and the base. The only way to get rid of those "genuses" is to make them look dumb. Which requires that client politicians who follow their advice actually lose.

[So will that mean you will vote against ALL the Democrats who supported ObamaCare in the next election?]

Surely this gruber punk can be tried for fraud. At least in the US that once existed before it became ok to tell lies to congress.

[To be consistent, wouldn't Obama also have to be tried for fraud? I quote WILLIAM RIVERS PITT: "F*** you, Mr. President, you piece of sh*t used-car salesman."]

The only reason that DU was applauding this piece of crap is because "Obama". Had a Repub tried to introduce the same exact law DU would have been vilifying it all over the place.

[DUmmie TorchTheWitch WINS a Kewpie Doll for having a brief moment of mental clarity!]

I despise people like this, but they are running our party. Now, how do we get rid of them?

[By voting conservative Republican but for you that would be an unthinkable option. ]

his is a huge, possible game changer for me. If we can't propose and sell good progressive legislation on its merits without succumbing to deception and contempt of the people, then I just don't know what. I am as dispirited now than I can remember ever being, more so than in 2000, 2004 or 2010. I am NOT, decidedly NOT, have NEVER been a subscriber to the philosophy that "the ends justify the means." I hate them all, because it's clear that they hate me and people like me. Face it, we're not citizens anymore, we're subjects.

[More accurately, you're DUmmies. Now on to the other DUmmie thread.....]

Obamacare Architect: ‘Lack of Transparency’ Helped Us Pass the Law

[BTW, what is Jonathan Gruber's DUmmie screen name?]

Searching for Gruber's name in DU, I found plenty of big threads about him. Do you consider these statements problematic?

[Problematic for ALL those Democrats who voted for ObamaCare]

They statements in the video are certainly not helpful and are a little embarrassing.

["Little?" Nice understatement.]

2000 page bill, poorly written, and deliberate lack of transparency by the government we pay for. Yeah, stupid voters.

[Stupid DUmmies but that's redundant.]

He didn't lie.

[Correct. Gruber told the truth about deceiving the public so that ObamaCare could pass.]

People shouldn't get all hung up over little white lies. The important thing is that if you like your plan you can keep it. And that your healthcare costs will go down by $2500.

[Ah, DUmmie sarcasm at work. But is that a REAL DUmmie?]

I'm sure some people benefited from ACA. I don't begrudge them. I'm happy they got the insurance they need. I just don't know any of those people. Every one I know will be penalized on their taxes and still have to depend on the county hospital. Which by the way, raised my tax bill this year. I have to pick one day a week to fast as it is. Hey, maybe that keeps me healthy. Yay.

[Soon you will have to pick one day a week to eat.]

If the Democrats do it, it's a good thing. But if Republicans do it, it's a bad thing. No wonder punk pieces of filth like this gruber character treat people like 4 year olds.

[I thought he treated people like DUmmies.]

Yet complain about Obamacare here and you get pilloried.

[WILLIAM RIVERS PITT is still licking his wounds.]

DUmmies Pray for 2016 Senate Salvation

Please, Blue Fairy! Oh PRETTY PLEASE!!! Please return the Senate to the Democrats in 2016.

The DUmmies are now praying for the Senate to return to majority Democrat in 2016. However, the very map they have posted shows it is an almost impossible task. I see at most 3 or maybe even 4 chances at the most. Not enough to regain the Senate especially since Landrieu looks like history and Manchin has a good chance of switching sides soon. In fact, the Democrats could even lose a couple of seats in 2016. I am thinking of Nevada tossing out Harry Reid and Colorado dumping their remaining Democrat. Even some DUmmies have given up hope as you can see on their thread, The Senate Map Flips in 2016. So let us now watch the DUmmies cross their fingers and wish real hard for a 2016 Senate flip in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, who enjoys watching the DUmmies flip their lids, is in the [brackets]:

The Senate Map Flips in 2016

[Say it enough times and you might believe it.]

“After securing control of the Senate Tuesday, Republicans are already staring down a daunting map for 2016,” Roll Call reports.

[It doesn't look daunting at all. Conservatives states are going to vote their approval of shamnesty?]

“The majority of the Senate battleground in the next election cycle will be fought on Republican turf, with the GOP defending 24 seats to the Democrats’ 10. There is more trouble for the party beneath those raw numbers; only two Democratic seats are in competitive states, while more than half a dozen Republican incumbents face re-election in states President Barack Obama carried at least once.”

[Yawn! Maybe if you DUmmies rub that map enough and chant it might work. Now to the DUmmie hopeful reactions...]

Don't worry Our wonderful Democratic Party leaders and their highly paid grifters...err...I mean "consultants" and "strategists" will find some way to f*** it up.

[COAKLEY 2016!!!]

Yes, but at the moment none of these are "open" seats. I think people don't understand how bad the map was for Senate Democrats this year. Not only were we fighting on Republican turf in many places, but there were so many open seats, due mostly to senators retiring. Right now, there are no open races in any of the states that we would hope to turn from red to blue in 2016.

[Party Pooper!!!]

Can Barack Obama Run For Senator In Illinois In 2016?..... I know he says this is his last job - but isn't it possible for him to go back to the Senate? If he can't or doesn't want to - how about Michelle.

[And you call yourselves a REALITY based community?]

I wouldn't count on a flip in PA. It's not out of the question, but there has to be a ton of negatives for the Republicans to be ousted in this state.

[Okay, enough with 2016. How about if we talk 2018?]

"DWS needs to step down NOW !!"

The DUmmies are ANGRY at Debbie Wasserman Schultz and they want her to step down as Chair of the DNC NOW!!! The FUnnie thing is the DUmmies are far more upset with DWS than your humble correspondent ever was. In fact, I was never upset with DWS. I never told this story before but before we get into this DUFU edition, I need to relay to you an incredible personal story about DWS.

A little over 7 years ago my wife was having trouble getting her Green Card despite us having been married over a year. The Feds kept delaying the appointment and when we finally showed up to the immigration building in Miami at 79th street near Biscayne, the woman interviewing us had a bad attitude. She didn't believe anything we told her and basically nixed my wife's chances of getting the Green Card. Then when we had a later appointment that was cancelled because that woman claimed she had to go to the hospital because her friend's cousin (or her cousin's friend) had to go to the hospital. After that my wife was informed that all her paperwork was LOST and it looked like her application which couldn't be found was going nowhere.

My wife reacted with total despondency and began crying. So I told her I would write a letter to my congressperson who was DWS at that time to explain the situation. My wife angrily dismissed me with a flick of her wrist to wave me off like I was an idiot even though I had explained that a neatly typed letter written business style usually gets the attention of the person receiving it.

Okay, within a few days I got notice from the office of DWS that we should go back to the immigration office and that the problem should be resolved. In about two weeks after I originally sent the letter my wife and I were back at the 79th street building but something was strange. Instead of a crowded parking lot for the building, it was completely empty. Then when we got to the outside of the building there was no one else there which was strange since there was usually a crowd of people. I asked the guard where everyone was and he told us that they closed down the building for us. I laughed because I thought he was joking but when we got to the office upstairs there was NO ONE else there. Normally you have to wait a long time for your appointment because of the big crowd. Right away the Fed woman who was nasty before came up to us all smiles and very apologetic. Right away she told us she was sorry about the "misunderstanding" and that my wife would get her green card very quickly which she did receive in the mail a short time later.

On the way home both my wife and I were blabbering to each other in STUNNED amazement about what had just occurred. An entire building closed just to handle our situation and a Fed woman with a completely changed attitude. It spoke to the amazing power of DWS to be able to pull that off. Since that day I often do a FUnnie impression of my despondent wife flicking her wrist in disgust at my idea of sending DWS a letter. I use that as an example not to despair when all looks hopeless. Also I am still amazed at the power of DWS. So what happened with the election? Most likely DWS was so powerful that none in the DNC dare challenge her. Problem is that her decisions might not have been the right ones. So if you have a constituent problem, DWS is definitely the one you want to handle it but for a DNC problem, maybe not the best person.

Okay, enough with my personal experience with DWS. The DUmmies want her OUT as you can see in this thread, DWS needs to step down NOW !! So let us now watch the DUmmies call for the ouster of DWS in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, noting that LBJ also provided some amazing constituent services to the point of causing his office staff to drop from exhaustion, is in the [brackets]:

DWS needs to step down NOW !!

[The DUmmie Reign of Terror begins. The Revolution is eating its own.]

Win or lose tonight - no matter what the results - we could have done a hell of a lot better ! We had to rely on Bill Maher (only one I know) to tout Obama's numerous achievements to the masses. Any party leader worth their salt would have compiled a list of achievements and sent it to every single frickin Dem to constantly throw to the press. We let the right define that Obama failed. Most Dems co-opted. The idea has reached critical mass. But it is not true ! And even the press doesn't challenge. DWS should step down and we need a true PR genius type with a great organizationally skilled team to take full and complete charge.

[As I have shown from personal experience DWS does (or did) have a great organizationally skilled team but when the message stinks there is not much one can do.]

A big Dem loss now helps Hillary in 2016.

[Almost every candidate that Hillary campaigned for LOST so that helps her?]

I think we underestimate the downright meanness and selfishness of the American people.

[WE ARE NOT WORTHY!!!]

Most Republicans I know, not all but most, are mean people. Most are racists. They don't see the huge inequalities in America today because they just don't care.

[And they beat grandma before rolling her over the cliff.]

Honestly, folks, the people in this country have turned into monsters. We have to realize this. Now what do we do?

[Have you considered COAKLEY 2016!]

I am stunned at the Dem incompetence at campaigning. It's like they didn't want to win.

[COAKLEY 2016!]

I agree she needs to go

[War On Women.]

One of the worst chairpersons ever

[Hey, she closed down a federal building just for me so I can't complain.]

The Democratic Party hasn't had a successful leader since Howard Dean. And yes, I think it's time for a change in the DNC.

[YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!!]

The candidates didn't have the support they needed to run winning campaigns. We really need Howard Dean back.

[Hillary hates him. YEEEEEEEAAAAAAGGGGHHH!!!!!]

Someone should have known better than to put her in that position. She was always a DLCer and rarely voted with the Dems when it mattered. I've never liked her, and this really doesn't help. She went with the corporatists again.

[Can YOU close down a building for a constituent, hotshot?]

Despite all that - which you know more about than I, she has always just seemed ineffectual to me.

[Let's see... A constituent writes her a letter. Within a couple of weeks her office closes down a building for that constituent and makes sure the problem is quickly resolved. Sorry, slam DWS all you want but "ineffectual" she is definitely not.]

Failure to perform. Her job is to deliver wins. Failed.

[She delivered for me. Maybe the Democrat message stinks so much that no amount of organizational ability can save them.]

Bring back Dean!

[YEEEEEEEAAAAAAGGGGHHH!!!!!]

She has got to go!

[To be replaced by Martha Coakley?]

She's not the problem... Our candidates were idiots...

[BINGO!!!]

I agree her tenure as party chair has been shitty. Dean needs to come back.

[I doubt he can shut down a building for a constituent.]

DWS will most likely get fired for effect but replaced with someone equally favored by the Conservative Oligarchs.

[Coakley? Hagan?]

DUmmies Discuss Why They Are Losers

Now that they have lost BIG in the midterms, the DUmmies discuss why they are losers. What is interesting in this post mortem is that the ground rules as set by DUmmie lumberjack_jeff is that they are NOT allowed to fall back on the usual excuses such as Diebold. Their loser awareness can be seen in this THREAD, "Post mortem thread. Why did we lose?" So let us now watch the DUmmies discuss their Inner Loser in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, noting that the Ebola Nurse threw the election to the Maine Republican governor, is in the [brackets]:

Post mortem thread. Why did we lose?

[Because you're LOSERS?]

Ground rules;
a) "we didn't lose" = delusional.
b) "voters suck" = irrelevant and pointless. To win, we need their sucky votes.
c) "Fraud! Cheating! Vote suppression!" = denial

[Those are pretty horrible restraints for DUmmies but it will be interesting to see how they will handle it.]

I guess I go first. The democrats were overdependent on single female voters.

[As Mark Uterus learned the hard way.]

because the country is right wing, and has been so for some time

[Not ready for Bolshevik Revolution.]

BTW, 70% of Americans believe angels actually exist. So you'll never go broke underestimating the intelligence of the American people. But they still support the progressive program when it is presented without party affiliation as a set of proposals.

[So label Bolshevism as "Progressive?"]

I live in Maryland and I'm still trying to process the fact that we just lost the f***ing governorship, despite all the good things Martin O'Malley did for this f***ing state--all because greedy-ass, self-serving ignoramuses want their taxes lower. Really? That's why they would rather have a Republican governor when the last ReTHUG governor we had nearly destroyed the Maryland state economy? Really?

[Please note that I used 3 (THREE) asterisks.]

unnecessary gun grab attempt.

[Followed by a very necessary Tombstoning for you.]

Gun Control died the day Di-Fi opened her mouth.

[Didn't Di-Fi once tell us she carried a gun with her for protection?]

Yes, the game is rigged. How do you beat a rigged game?

[By leaving the country so go now.]

Get leftists on the ballot. Only support outspoken progressives and liberal. Rock the f***ing boat.

[Guess what? You will STILL vote for Hillary in 2016.]

It made me furious when the Republicans started making "liberal" a swear word, and Dem politicians fell all over one another saying, "Liberal? No, nobody here but us moderates! We're business friendly and for a strong defense!"

[Tell that to Mary Landrieu for her Jungle Runoff.]

The sad reality is that the Senate leader will be an old white guy, just like it is now.

[Would you prefer it run by a young Latin guy like Ted Cruz?]

The fact is the majority of Americans consider Obama too liberal. And no hysterical screed is going to change that. Even if it's true that most Americans support liberal values, when it comes to the voting booth, as has been proven over and over again, many don't want liberals and they don't like them. Reality.

[And DUmmie Number 23 WINS a Kewpie Doll for having a brief moment of mental clarity!]

The democratic party lost tonight because for the most part the party is composed of losers. it's not this demographic or that one, it's not any one magic button, it's everything. It's systemic. You know how people here will tell you to "hold your nose ang vote?" Well, that smell you're protecting your nose from is gangrene. Internal rot.

[Mark Uterus is still reciting "War on Women" in his sleep.]

As for Coakley, I am baffled. She is the worst candidate ever! Why do MA Dems insist on running her for office?

[COAKLEY 2016!]

Repuglikkkan gerrymandering

[Yeah, gerrymandering explains all those Democrat Senate and gubernatorial losses.]

The Democrats did not turn out enough voters

[Both live and dead.]

We can thank The Clintons to have sided with the rethugs by relaying their Obama undeserved criticism....

[HILLARY 2016!]

I'm sitting here stunned in Illinois. We appear to have elected a right-wing, wealthy Republican as our governor.

[Would you prefer to be sitting stunned in Maryland?]

Koch money

[Harry Reid got a nickle for every time he mentioned the Koch Bros.]

DUmmies Cry Diebold in NC Senate Loss

DIEBOLD!!! That old DUmmie excuse is back for them to explain the sad loss of Kay Hagan in the North Carolina senate LOSS. Why? Because exit polls MUST always be right. Just ask President John F. Kerry. You can see the DUmmies cry DIEBOLD in this very sad THREAD, "Hagan won the exit polls. How did she lose the race?" So let us now watch the DUmmies scream DIEBOLD in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, remember to make it THREE asterisks per F word on the Free Republic, is in the [brackets]:

Hagan won the exit polls. How did she lose the race?

[Voting with Obama 97% of the time including ObamaCare?]

Exit polls used to be a very precise method to ensure that elections weren't stolen. Not anymore. That stopped when electronic voting was implemented. This race was stolen.

[And we all know exit polls can't be manipulated. Ask President John F. Kerry about that.]

Diebold

[Ah! That old comforting standby excuse.]

Diebold hasn't owned any voting machines in 6 years

[LOUSY FREEPER TROLL!!!]

same trash whether you want to call it Diebold or not.

[Translation: Don't bother me with the facts.]

Flippity-Floppity diebold machines

[For Floppity-Floppity Democrat candidates.]

Same with Georgia was neck and neck but suddenly a repuke blowout.

[Use that Diebold excuse here, there, and EVERYWHERE!]

I came to DU in 2004 when Kerry won the exit polls and lost the election.

[He was SwiftBolded.]

The only thing worse than conspiracy theories are lazy ones. Exit polls are POLLS; they're not a gold standard of actual votes.

[LOUSY FREEPER TROLL!!!]

To the streets! Taking it to the streets....

[You won't make it past the third step up out of Mommy's basement.]

DUmmies Mourn Defeat of Abortion Barbie

It's hard to remember now but before the implosion of the Wendy Davis campaign the DUmmies and much of the left were in a state of excitement over Abortion Barbie. But now she has been defeated handily in Texas and the DUmmies are mourning her loss in this THREAD, "CBS: PROJECTION: Republican Greg Abbott Defeats Wendy Davis in Texas Governor's Race." So let us now watch the DUmmies bid a sad goodbye to Wendy in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, also saying goodbye to pink sneakers as a fashion statement, is in the [brackets]:

CBS: PROJECTION: Republican Greg Abbott Defeats Wendy Davis in Texas Governor's Race

[Are you really surprised? Wendy imploded weeks ago.]

Goddamn it.

[Wait until you find out the Wisconsin governor results.]

She lost when the Voter ID law was upheld

[Such a pity you weren't allowed to more freely cheat.]

The GOP is the biggest scandal of the century. Huge voter suppression and fixing the voting machines so they didn't register right. The GOP is the biggest fraud, AG Holder will be busy undoing all the GOP fraud wins

[Uphold the right of Democrat cheating. Eliminate Voter ID to make it easier.]

Too many bible-thumping, goat-roping, gohmert-types in the lone-star state.

[As opposed to DUmmie goat thumpers.]

" GRIMES IS AHEAD"

ATTENTION! DUmmie Denial of Reality in Aisle 4. Please send in the cleanup crew with the white coats.

Yes, Mitch McConnell has won decisively in Kentucky yet we still get this from DUmmieland, F*CK THE MSM! GRIMES IS AHEAD. So let us now watch the DUmmies deny brutal reality in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, wondering if Walter Mondale won in 1984. is in the [brackets]:

F*CK THE MSM! GRIMES IS AHEAD

[NAPOLEON WON AT WATERLOO!]

49% to 47% Do NOT Give Up Hope!!!

[Yeah, you hang onto that hope as we check the lack of reality in the rest of the DUmmies...]

This is very strange. Calling it for him when she is now ahead in actual votes reported.

[Hang in there. Mondale might still beat Reagan.]

Oh I PROMISE you I will not believe anything from the media until ALL votes are counted.

[Wake me when the count is over.]

The early call was bullshit

[Live with it.]

What? It's 54.7 -42.3 Mitch

[Keep waiting until every last vote is counted.]

Some are saying concession speeches in about 25-30 minutes? I hope not so soon.

[Okay, we'll make it 35 to 40 minutes.]

Cnn says she called to concede.

[Keep hope alive!]

Yogi Berra: It ain't over 'til it's over. I hope Democratic politicians who lose this evening make Republicans sweat all night and won't concede until mid-morning and a good night's sleep.

[Yes. Best to extend your agony.]

"MSNBC Just Called KY for McConnell? WTF?"

Ahhhm a STROOOOONG Kintucky Woman!

Hey, Alison Grimes. You can drop that hick shtick and start talking in your normal voice again because you have just been declared a LOSER. And the DUmmies are in a state of SHOCK over how quickly she lost as you can see in this THREAD, "MSNBC Just Called KY for McConnell? WTF?." So let us now watch the DUmmies sadly bid goodbye to their STROOOOOONG Kintucky woman in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, noting that McConnell seems to have far exceeded his expected margin of victory, is in the [brackets]:

MSNBC Just Called KY for McConnell? WTF?

[Fast but definitely not painless.]

I know it was a long shot but already? UPDATE (7:16 EST): McConnell is up 56.9% - 40.1% with 12% reporting

[UPDATE: DUmmies in extreme mourning mode.]

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO F****************************CK!

[You just wore out my asterisk finger.]

God damn it to mother f*cking hell no How the f*ck can they do that within minutes?

[Because they knew if they did it within seconds it would cause a mass DUmmie Die-off.]

This is unreal. F*ck off, Kentucky

[Perhaps you should drown your sorrows in some good Kentucky bourbon.]

This was a winnable race

[But only in William Rivers Pitt's drunken dreams.]

It's not over till it's over. You never know the votes arn't counted yet. Just the same I texted my therapist to let her know I may need to talk. If things go too bad tonight it will be another disaster for me.

[Need a coupon for a strait jacket?]

If she would have embraced the President she probably would have won.

[Posted DUmmie LukeFL from Fantasy Island.]

DUmmies Already Cursing This Election

Five hours before the election results started coming in today and the DUmmies are already cursing this election. DUmmie Drunken Irishman (not to be confused with DUmmie Drunken Former Bostonian) seems to be the resident "intellectual" over this with a THREAD displaying this bit of wit, "F*ck Republicans. And f*ck the fuckers who f*cking vote for those f*cks." Since there is going to be a Fast and Furious posting of DUFU editions throughout the night without further adieu let us watch the DUmmies curse into the darkeness in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, fortified with coffee for a possible all nighter DUFU blizzard, is in the [brackets]:

F*ck Republicans. And f*ck the fuckers who f*cking vote for those f*cks.

[How erudite. I just wore out my asterisk key trying to clean up your act.]

f*ck them all to hell!!!!!!!

[DUmmie noiretextatique obviously not in the mood to sing Mr. Roger's Neighborhood.]

Can I throw them into the pits of hell, and just "say" I f*cked them?

[DUmmie Elmer S. E. Dump adds to the intellectual feast.]

And f*ck their corporate masters as well!

[Originality seems to be in short supply in DUmmieland today.]

I just sent my employees home at noon and closed the shop. Now, it's just me and Jim Beam here. Not going home tonight, because I strongly suspect I'll be in one damn rotten mood, and my wife and 3 kids don't need that.

[By tomorrow morning DUmmie Old Nick should be ready for the restraining straps and the muzzle.]

And for good measure, f*ck 'em all, the long, the short, and the tall, f*ck 'em all

[Perhaps you would be best off taking sniffing the anesthesia rag now and wake up well into the future when the pain of this night mostly dies down.]

You're priming us for what is to come in about 7 hours. I have no idea why people are so fucked up to vote for a Republican. F*ck Republicans. F*ck their f*cking Corporate media, NPR too. Oh, and lets not forget the registered f*ckers who vote Republican simply by not getting to the polls. The registered non-voting f*ckers are the ones who yell the loudest about what is happening to our country!

[And I am priming DUmmie ReRe for DUFU notoriety. Thanx for your entertaining ANGER.]

F*ck every last one of the f*cking assholes

[Thank you for that excellent summation of this thread's DUmmie thought.]

DUmmies in Denial: "What's with all the GLOOM and DOOM threads?"

They're whistling past the graveyard, trying to maintain a cheerful countenance in the face of imminent disaster. The handwriting is on the wall, but they don't want to read it. In other words, the DUmmies are in denial. All the signs point to major midterm losses for the Democrats tomorrow--including the loss of the U.S. Senate--but the DUmmies don't want to admit it. That's the state of mind in DUmmieland on the eve of Election Day, as seen in several threads, including this THREAD, "What's with all the GLOOM and DOOM threads?"

So let us now journey to the Shores of Denial, where the comments are in Bolshevik Red, while the commentary of your humble guest correspondent, Charles Henrickson, looking forward to DUmmie Depression come Wednesday morning, is in the [brackets]:

What's with all the GLOOM and DOOM threads?

[DUmmie CatWoman says:  Come on, get happy! Just put on a happy face!]

I don't want to wade through all that negativity. . . . I don't want to hear about Dems just lining up to throw themselves into the bottomless pit of minority status come Tuesday. I just don't want to hear that crap.

[LALALA!!! I CAN'T HEEEEEEEEEEAR YOU!!!!!!!]

[Other DUmmies agree . . .]

They turn me off of reading much of General Discussion. It's much nicer in Cooking & Baking!

[Just be careful about sticking your head in the oven come Wednesday morning.]

Seriously, I ought to pop in and post a pic of the two racks of lamb I grilled for the wife on our anniversary.

[MURDERER!]

Yum! I love lamb, and grilled is especially good.

[I love the smell of grilled donkey in the morning.]

This is just the warm-up for 2016. What a pleasant little oasis DU will be then . . .

[Hee! Hee!]

The so called liberals in the media are so incredibly irresponsible. From Maddow to Maher they have defeated the Democrats by depressing turnout with their "impending doom" prognosis. They are horrible for what they are doing, then turn around wonder why Democrats don't fight.

[C'mon, Rachel! Get out there and fight like a man!]

We may lose the Senate but we will reclaim some governorships. There will be good news on Tuesday night regardless of what happens in the Senate. . . . Plus, 2016 is approaching and it is nothing but blue skies for us.

[WHEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! Nothing but blue skies!!! Oh, except for those thunderclouds overhead.]

they are spending too much time listening to NPR, which is no longer our friend. I heard enough claptrap from them today to delete them from the buttons on my car radio.

[No unpleasant news! Do not want! Delete buttons! Block out! Ban! Going North Korea on my car radio!]

We may lose the senate but may gain a couple of gubernatorial races which is good. 2016 here we come !! I think we have a chance in 16 to not only take back the senate but make gains in the house as well with Hillary at the top of the ticket. . . .

[Yes! Hillary! The Belle of Benghazi!! Now there's a hope to hang a hat on! 2016, here we come!!]

I don't know what the polls are saying but I think Wendy and good chance in Texas. . . .

[Abortion Barbie has as much chance in Texas as Dan Rather in a room full of fax machines.]

Sounds like a request for "See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no evil." Good Luck!

[LOUSY FREEPER TROLL!!!]

and you sound like a request for me to tell you to go jump in a f***ing lake. Good Luck! Don't forget your scuba gear.

[CatWoman tells BKH70041 what he can do with his DUmmie Downer self!]

Elections always make me wonder how so many people can fall for such idiotic campaigns and vote for such misanthropic dimwits.

[Hey, keep Obama out of this! . . . BTW, notice how many Democrat candidates are TRYING to keep Obama out of this!]

Too many (maybe most) Democratic candidates are trying to avoid any connection to Obama. . . .

["'Obama'? Who's he? Never heard of the guy."]

I am going to vote on Tuesday. I will stand in the cold for maybe an hour.

[Oh, why bother? I think the forecast is for it to be warmer on Wednesday. Vote then. Besides, you don't want to go vote when all those Teabagger Rethuglicans will be there, driving up in their suburban minivans, with their Jesusland bumper stickers and their guns and Bibles and fattening foods. Ewww! Better to go on Wednesday, when you can have the place to yourself.]

I don't like to get my hopes up or pretend that I think everything will turn out sunshine and roses for democrats this election.

[Oh, go ahead, DUmmie cali! Pretend away! Nothing but blue skies, you know!!!]

honestly, I think we're being Freeped. MANY of the Doom and Gloomers have very low post counts.

[heh heh heh. . . .]

Repubs strutting around like they have already won.

We are NOT gonna lose the Senate.

[Just clap your hands real hard and BELIEEEEEEEEEVE!!!!!!!!]

Not only are we going to New Hampshire. We're going to South Carolina and Arizona and North Dakota and New Mexico, and we're going to California and Texas and New York. And we're going to South Dakota and Oregon and Washington and Michigan. And then we're going to Washington, D.C. to take back the White House. YAHHHHHHHHHH!

[Howard Dean checks in.]

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference.

[At this time Pied Piper Pitt is praying the Sobriety Prayer:  Grant me the sobriety to realize all is lost tomorrow night, the courage to get real plastered so I don't notice it, and the wisdom on Wednesday to stay in bed and sleep through it.]

If I hear "voted with Obama 97% of the time" or "the deciding vote on Obamacare" one more time, I might be tempted to shoot my TV.

[Or, you could just turn it off and hide the remote in the rafters, Doug.]

Tues will be a letdown. . . .

[Democratic Understatement.  "Captain, I think the ship may have bumped into that iceberg a little bit."]

CAN YOU PLEASE TAKE YOUR DEBBIE DOWNERISM SOMEWHERE ELSE !! ENOUGH D*MN IT !! . . . How about some positiveness. Please, consider taking an upper. We just are not interested in stinking rotten Debby Downerism.

[Turn that frown upside-down! Take some drugs! Calgon, take me away!!]

I fear that it will be a pretty f***ing horrible couple of years. . . .

[France beckons. Flights will be booking up pretty fast Wednesday morning.]

I go bald from tearing my hair out.

[Is that you, Nadin Brzezinski?]
