ObamaCare Alert!!! Pitt's Bank Account Compromised

This isn't going to be the usual full DUFU edition. Yes, WILLIAM RIVERS PITT does attempt to spread his disdained scent in DUmmieland again with this THREAD, "So, let's see now..." However it was one of his replies that I am going to focus on only as a WARNING to all of you DUmb enough to reveal your personal financial information on the ObamaCare website. Like Pitt, you will learn the hard way that your bank account can be compromised as happened to Pitt. I warned him about this back in December when Pitt was still enthusiastically registering like a fool for ObamaCare. Here was my WARNING

["Hello, Igor? Here is my bank account number I promised to give you."]

Unfortunately Pitt learned the hard way that when you reveal your financial info to the ObamaCare website you also reveal it to the Russian Mafia. Here is Pitt's post of today on how he got ripped off:

Someone managed to compromise my bank account on Wednesday, and looted me of exactly $25 by purchasing phone apps, which means it's kids...but I got that squared away.

That's it with this DUFU edition. Spread the WARNING far and wide. Reveal your financial info to the UNSECURE ObamaCare website like WILLIAM RIVERS PITT did and you risk compromising your bank account.

Pitt: "The used car salesman strikes again"

WILLIAM RIVERS PITT is baaaack and he is doubling down on his Obama slamming as you can see in the title of his THREAD, "The used car salesman strikes again." Of course, he is getting quite a bit less than the red carpet treatment in DUmmieland. Even Skinner now has disdain for the Pittster. So let us now watch Pitt continuing digging himself into a DUmmie hole in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, watching as Pitt edges ever closer to a permanent tombstoning, is in the [brackets]:

"Moreover, Russia has pointed to America’s decision to go into Iraq as an example of Western hypocrisy. Now, it is true that the Iraq War was a subject of vigorous debate not just around the world, but in the United States as well. I participated in that debate and I opposed our military intervention there. But even in Iraq, America sought to work within the international system. We did not claim or annex Iraq’s territory. We did not grab its resources for our own gain. Instead, we ended our war and left Iraq to its people and a fully sovereign Iraqi state that could make decisions about its own future." - Obama, in Brussells, yesterday

[- Pitt, in Purgatory, yesterday.]

An amazing amount of bullshit in one paragraph. We ran roughshod over the international community to get that war going. If an invasion and ten-year occupation isn't annexation, then nothing is. We totally, totally grabbed their resources, because the oil was supposed to "pay for the war," as I recall...and there were gas lines in Iraq for years after the invasion, because we were sitting on their oil like it was our own private piggy bank. And as for the state we left Iraq in, thousands upon thousands of people have been killed in the sectarian strife we left behind. They aren't making decisions about their future. They're running for their damned lives.

[Yeah, we were just flooded with cheap Iraqi oil according to historian Pitt.]

The used car salesman is trying to sell the lemon that was the Iraq war in order to avoid sounding like a hypocrite about Russia.

[Uh-oh! Back to that used car salesman analogy again. Throw in a few F-words and it will be like old times.]

Utterly nauseating.

[And now the Skinner lecture.]

Disappointed to see you doubling down on calling the president names. No, I'm not telling you to stop. I just figured you might want to know that some people don't appreciate seeing that here. Just in case you care about that sort of thing.

[Don't tombstone Wee Willie, Skinner. We enjoy the unintended comedy entertainment he consistently provides.]

I'm hoping midterm election rules kick in soon. Where we all go back to supporting Democrats.

[Make that BLINDLY supporting Democrats...Like the gun running Leland Yee.]

Also, No Feedback Within The Thread from the OP. This is just rhetorical bomb throwing.

[Pitt is like a cat marking his DUmmieland territory with his stale beer scent.]

The OP threw a bomb....and disappeared into the night. Pretty pathetic actually.

[Pitt has to prove he matters. You got that? HE MATTERS!!!]

Yep, drop the turd and watch it stink up... everything. Pathetic.

[The horrible smell lingers for a full 24 business hours.]

I know you're a tolerant guy... but trolls have been banned for less. In many cases, it isn't the actual topic that brings about a banning but the pure disruptive nature they bring to DU. These posts are disruptive to healthy discussion. And the previous OP was downright nasty.

[Some have even been banned for threatening violence upon a homeless woman.]

I call it like I see it, sir. Rather than fret over the use of this term or that term, I'd be interested in your opinion on the president's comments on the war you and I spent the better part of a decade resisting.

[That was Pitt telling Skinner not to fret.]

The shame is that you do not 'get' that it is your terms that are the problem. Allowing yourself to be so blinded by your anger that you begin talking about the President in the same terms as repugs, freepers and teabaggers is something many will not agree with... repugs, freepers and teabaggers are enjoying it though.

[Oh, we sure are enjoying Pitt, DUmmie Ohio Joe. His post about ObamaCare has gone Web viral. And now Pitt goes into self-justification mode...]

Terms. If George W. Bush had stood up and said we worked with the international community, we did not plunder Iraq's resources, and gave them free will to run their own country (paraphrasing Brussels), the roof would have come off this joint. And you know it. Well, President Obama said it, and I called him on it. If the feelings of a bunch of people who treat politics like a playoff game between the Giants and the Eagles get hurt in the process because of the language I used, well, that's what they call in Wisconsin "hard cheese."

["Hard cheese?" Is that what they call it in Newton? But proceed...]

I'm going to call bullshit when I see bullshit, as I have done in this place since 2001, and I am going to make use of all the terms in the lexicon to do so if it helps even one whit to underscore that wrong is wrong, no matter whose lips it passes over.

[How about the term "24 business hours?" Please continue...]

Once upon a time, we shredded politicians who lied about Iraq, using language far less polite than mine. Because it was the war that mattered. It still does.

[That was Pitt's excuse but DUmmie msanthrope isn't buying it...]

You called the President a "piece of shit." Therefore, you've done what Virginia. Woolf found unpardonable...you lost objectivity. You lost the edge that makes a political writer a persuasive success. You lost the distance that separates good writing from bad. That's unfortunate, Will. I hope you get your mojo back.

[Methinks Pitt lost his mojo on May 12, 2006. And now Skinner resumes his hector lecture...]

Here's the problem. The polarizing language about the president makes a good faith discussion on the merits extremely difficult. You are a smart guy, and you knew that echoing the insult that you used in the previous shitstorm would get exactly the response you got. I didn't particularly appreciate the last shitstorm, and I'm not going to get much utility out of this one either. This one thread isn't the end of it -- there are going to be a half a dozen other threads that get started over the next few days to rehash the appropriateness of calling the president names.

[Oh goodie! More DUFU comedy material!!! Please continue berating Pitt, Skinner...]

Obviously, you received a lot of blowback for your last thread, and you are receiving a lot of blowback for this thread. I am not so naive to think that you or anyone else would actually back down in the face of that kind of resistance -- to do so would feel like admitting weakness. And I know you're not going to back down simply because the administrator of DU expressed his distaste for insulting the president -- here on DU I am The Power, and a good progressive can't be seen to be backing down from Speaking Truth. I get that. I'm just hoping that maybe next time, when you or anyone else on DU is thinking about starting a thread in which you insult the president, you think about those of us who don't really appreciate it. I'm not telling you what to do. And I'm not trying to score points here. What I'm trying to do is simply to share a piece of information with you: Some of us don't like seeing the president insulted. What you choose to do with that information is entirely up to you.

[Pitt chooses to drink on it, Skinner. BTW, Know-It-All Nadin is all over her thread but I have avoided quoting her because she is annoying but I will now permit one typical Know-It-All-Comment from her...]

But if we are going to prevent people insulting the President, it should be the office, not the person. This means, regardless of occupant, you do not hurl insults, and do not call either man a used car salesman. Of course, you are also asking an editorial writer not to do what is in the fine tradition of editorial writers going back to oh Washington. Do not, I repeat this, do not, read editorials from the civil war, for example. They will make you blush. Trust me, this one is mild. I know, that is a fine distinction many here do not understand. One of multiple reasons I keep real meat out of this place anymore.

[Belive me, Know-It-All Nadin, you haven't had real meat anyplace near you since about birth. Oh, and no "hard cheese" either.]

Mr. Pitts writings do not anger me, I believe his opinions do result in irrational anger with unreasonable thought. I agree with most here that Pitt does not have to be banned for his opinion of Obama. Pitt believes that Obama is not performing as Pitt expected and he has made his dislike quite evident, as that is his right. I don't use the ignore button because I do like to know where a writer is coming from on certain issues. I try to stay away from anger, after all these years I've learned that anger can be self destructive, although I will plead guilty to getting pissed sometimes.

[Goodbye, Mr. Pitts. If Pitt is ever tombstoned and they make a movie about it, the end will feature a ghostly procession of DUmmies walking by until finally DUmmie Steve Numbers turns and says, "Goodbye, Mr. Pitts."]

Trashing President Obama is against the DU rules - a banning offense.

[Goodbye, Mr. Pitts.]

"What Is Posted on DU Doesn't Stay on DU"

WILLIAM RIVERS PITT learned it the hard way. When you post in DUmmieland it lasts forever unto the end of time. And Pitt's profane post about how much he hates both ObamaCare and Obama will is permanently set in internet stone. Even worse, his post was repeated far and wide throughout the Web. It is going to be interesting to see if Pitt ever crawls back into DUmmieland begging forgiveness for his heresy. In fact, I wonder if he ever comes back to DUmmieland again. For that matter Pitt hasn't even posted at TruthOut so maybe he will get off the grid entirely and spend the rest of his life chopping wood in the New Hampshire woods. In any event, it was the Pitt fallout that inspired this DUmmie THREAD, "What Is Posted on DU Doesn't Stay on DU." It is a warning from DUmmie Mineralman (with Pitt in mind) that OTHERS are reading DUmmie posts. Yes, DUmmie MineralMan, the comedy gold nuggets often end up in places like...the DUmmie FUnnies. So let us now watch DUmmie Mineralman warn his fellow DUmmies about making fools of themselves in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, sending a search party out for Wee Willie, is in the [brackets].

What Is Posted on DU Doesn't Stay on DU.

[Correct, DUmmie MineralMan. It ends up in the DUmmie FUnnies.]

That's something a lot of us don't think about much. But, when you post something on DU, it's searchable on Google, and Google likes DU a lot. If you start a thread on DU in GD or any other public forum, you can search for your thread title a few minutes later and, if you put the title in quotation marks, it will be the top result in the search results page.

[Hmmm...Let's see if you are correct. I'll google What I've learned about the Affordable Care Act and, yes there it is!]

That's because Google constantly watches DU and ranks things posted here pretty highly. We're a popular website.

[A wonderful source for comedic entertainment.]

If you post something that is unique or emphatically worded in the body of a thread, that will also show up in a Google search, if you use those unique keywords.

[Are "24 business hours" unique keywords?]

Sometimes, if you type something extraordinary and if you are well-known outside of DU, that extraordinary thing will be found and posted on many other websites. Once that happens, what you wrote has the potential to go viral, if it is extraordinary enough or if you're well-known enough. Most DUers aren't well-known, but what they post here can still be found on Google.

[Yup! Wee Willie is infamous outside of DUmmieland but Temporary SockPuppet? Not so well known.]

You can see this for yourself. Just Google your own screen name. You'll find all sorts of things you wrote on DU in the search results, unless your screen name is very common. If you post a lot on DU, lots of results will show up. Usually, some of what you wrote will show up as well. If it's unusual, striking, or out of the ordinary, it's sure to show up.

[Google your own screen name, DUmmie MineralMan and you will find out you ended up in the DUmmie FUnnies. Hee! Hee!]

All of this is to suggest that thinking about what you post on DU is worth doing a little. It will be searchable and connected to your screen name for a long, long time. In some cases, it may appear on other websites, including some websites you may not particularly care for or that don't represent your views. That's more likely, of course, if you're a well-known poster on DU. Then, it might show up on websites that dislike DU and what it represents very much. It could even go viral in ways you won't like.

[Such as in the DUmmie FUnnies. Hello DUmmie MineralMan? Has WILLIAM RIVERS PITT been found yet?]

It's good to consider what you write here and to think before clicking the "Post" button. Once you do, Google will find it and so can anyone else. It can be embarrassing at times, as I have learned myself. Being embarrassed by one's own words isn't much fun, which I've also learned. From learning that, I've learned to reread what I've written before posting it on DU.

[It will take only 10 microseconds for DUmmie MineralMan to embarrass himself.]

If you want to see how it works, go to Google and search for this, including the quotation marks: MineralMan "Paul Ryan is an absolute Poopy-Head."

["F*ck you, Mr. President, you piece of shit used-car salesman."]

Wait a few minutes from the time I posted this thread, and you should find it right away.

[We call it instant comedy. And now on to the other self-embarrassing DUmmies...]

All kidding aside, llmart is so remote from my real name that at least no one that I know in my real life would have any idea it's me.

[Tell that to DUmmie DainBramaged, DUmmie llmart. And while you're at it, please tell him to go up into the rafters of Gearhart Chevrolet and return the TV remote.]

freerepublic took my post from over a year ago about my fiance leaving me and made fun of it...really??????? Now I really, really, really, hate those fuckers. They need to get real lives. Quickly.

[Sorry we overlooked you in the DUFUs, DUmmie blueamy66, but on the plus side we did CATCH DUmmie darkangel218 dumping her RW boyfriend.]

Yes, that happens a lot. Sites that post negative things about DU often quote DUers. That's how things spread around the Internet. It can be very unpleasant.

[Yes, it can be very unpleasant but also very FUnnie, DUmmie MineralMan.]

Karma is a bitch. They will get theirs.

[Enjoy the Karmatic Kickback, DUmmie blueamy66.]

My own posts get spread around a lot For the life of me, I don't understand why.

[Is that you, DUmmie DainBramaged?]

A couple conservative groups monitor our board closely including this thread

[Gee, I wonder who that would be?]

I checked, and yes, one of them is mocking this thread, even as it continues. Funny, isn't it?

[Make it two of them since the DUmmie FUnnies is about to join with the Conservative Cave in the FUn.]

I'd imagine that Will is aware of this, that he has zero problem letting others outside DU know his opinions, and accepts that as part and parcel of his craft. I think Will realizes he's not anonymous, and doesn't mind others reading his opinion pieces... regardless of whether those pieces raise the hackles of the dogmatic mind, or simply gets forgotten as quickly as its read.

[Yes, Will is well aware of the hazards of Web post infamy. He will explain it all to you in just 24 business hours.]

Yes. I'd be surprised if he isn't. He's a very smart person. This was not directed at him.

[Don't be a fibber, DUmmie MineralMan. You had WILLIAM RIVERS PITT at the top of your mind when posting this warning thread.]

Conservative Cave is our stalker, it seems.

[Sniff! And no kind words for the DUmmie FUnnes?]

DUmmies Call Drudge LIAR On ObamaCare Tax Claim

Be prepared to experience a wonderful OOOPS moment. After the members of the DUmmieland Animal Farm fall over each other in calling Matt Drudge a LIAR, Liar, Liar: TPM Catches Drudge With His Pants Down, over his claim about paying the ObamaCare tax, a Kewpie Doll Award Winner corrects them and then the thread pretty much goes silent. However, the DUmmies shouldn't feel alone in their idiocy. Much of the left and the Obama Regime has made the same mistake and ended up with egg on their collective faces as you can see HERE. So let us now watch the DUmmies scream LIAR at Matt Drudge in Bolshevik Red only to be forced into silence with their tails between their legs while the commentary of your humble correspondent, wondering if WILLIAM RIVERS PITT, has been forced into Witness Protection since posting his ObamaCare heresy, is in the [brackets]:

Liar, Liar: TPM Catches Drudge With His Pants Down

[Stupid, Stupid: DUFUs Catches DUmmie kpete With His Brain Down.]

There's just one problem: Americans don't pay a penalty for not having health insurance until they file their 2014 taxes -- in 2015. So either Drudge is lying or he paid a huge penalty a year earlier than he needed to.

[And now more DUmmies follow DUmmie kpete in his ignorance.]

Were there eggs involved?

[Only the ones about to end up on ALL your faces.]

This was a very stupid lie by Drudge. Either Drudge has an idiot doing his taxes or he is lying

[Or...All of you are complete idiots as we shall see. Hee! Hee!]

Typical Republican spending habits. Spend a bunch of money on nothing, then lie about it. nt

[The "nt" stands for "no thinking."]

Drudge is such Lair and obviously hates Obamacare as much as all the other assholes who lie about it.

[Lair! Lair! Okay folks, here comes that great OOPS moment that pretty much shuts down this thread...]

This is incorrect. Businesses (and individuals) must pay estimated taxes at least quarterly. If you haven't paid most of your 2014 taxes already before the April 2015 filing deadline you owe additional penalties. Since it is nearing the end of March, Drudge likely is referring to paying his first quarter's estimated tax. Since Drudge apparently knows he won't be purchasing the required health insurance at all during the year he knows what his penalty will be and can add 1/4th of it to his first estimated tax payment to avoid additional penalties.

[OOOPS! And DUmmie PoliticAverse WINS a Kewpie Doll for having a brief moment of mental clarity. However, DUmmie randome looks desperately for a way out of the hole the DUmmies have dug themselves into.]

The penalty only applies for businesses with more than 50 employees. And even then the penalty isn't payable until 2016. So Drudge is a flat-out liar. And the more pissy Tweets he makes on the subject, the worse he looks. He may be heading for a full-blown meltdown.

[Unfortunately for him, the Kewpie Doll Award winner adds this tidbit...]

Is he referring to the business penalty or the individual one (which is in effect now)?

[And DUmmie Randome tries one last desperate bid to extricate himself from the tar patch...]

In one of his Tweets, he mentioned the penalty that small businesses pay. Either way, he clearly lied when he said he paid a penalty unless he has more than 100 employees, which TPM and Huffington Post doubt.

[But the Kewpie Award Winner has this "sad" info for DUmmie ranDUmb...]

In his tweet he says "Ministry of Love calls it the 'Individual Shared Responsibility Payment'" implying it is the individual penalty now in effect not the business one that Obama delayed.

[That was 9:35 PM yesterday, after which the humiliated DUmmies pretty much shut up except for this tidbit from DUmmie Mariana...]

Doesn't matter that he lied or that his lie was so easy to disprove. All his fans will believe it anyway. He wins.

[You're right. He wins because YOUR lies about him were easy to prove wrong. WINNING!!!]

William Rivers Pitt Saved by Big Pharma

When last we saw WILLIAM RIVERS PITT yesterday he was WITHOUT HOPE. Utterly betrayed by his blessed ObamaCare, he cursed both it and Dear Leader for depriving his wife of much needed meds. And yet, much less than 24 business hours ago, back in March 2010 when ObamaCare passed Congress, Pitt had such HIGH HOPES:

My wife has MS. I'm celebrating the passage of this bill.
All of you who are determined to shit all over the passage of this legislation...welll...try not to land on each other when you jump out the window.
I'm celebrating today.

Well he was celebrating then but crying yesterday. However today Pitt is happy again because Big Pharma came to the rescue. Of course, don't expect Pitt to go overboard in his gratitude because he is already at extreme risk of being Tombstoned from DUmmieland for his heresy of yesterday. In fact, as you shall see in his THREAD, "My wife will get her meds" [thanks to Big Pharma], many DUmmies are demanding that Pitt apologize for attacking Dear Leader. So let us now watch WILLIAM RIVERS PITT credit Big Pharma for saving his wife in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, wondering if the Trust Fund Kid had to plead abject poverty in order to score the cheap/free drugs, is in the [brackets]:

My wife will get her meds

[Y quien es El Salvador?]

Those of you who suggested we go through the drug company directly were bang-on correct; our insurance company is still futzing around, but the drug company has hooked us up for enough time to get the issue permanently resolved.

[Bless you, Big Pharma!!! You rescued us when we were abandoned by ObamaCare!]

Thanks for all your (mostly) kid words and advice.

Still hyper-pissed.

[At ObamaCare, Dear Leader, and at MYSELF for being a complete IDIOT.]

But my wife will get her medication.

[Thanx to Big Pharma.]

And that is enough for today.

[Not yet, Pitt. The DUmmies are still demanding you apologize for yesterday's heresy. Oh, and today's acknowledgment that Big Pharma saved the day for you only adds to your heresy. So on to the accusatory DUmmies.....]

I'm so glad that the drug company is going to help your wife with her meds.

[Thank you, Koch Bros. Pharmaceuticals!]

Exactly, no one should have to jump through hoops to get life-saving meds.

[You mean like declaring poverty when the fat Trust Fund check is in the mail?]

The drug companies *count* on this. Every person who gives up in despair before managing to break through the layers of red tape and seemingly insurmountable obstacles represents profit to those greedy jerks.

[Big Pharma is proving the Pitt family with cheap/free drugs and they are "greedy jerks?"]

Will, I'm delighted that your wife has access to her medications, but we as a nation simply cannot ethically afford to accept this kind of individual "fix" each time an individual in need runs up against the wall of for-profit health "care".

[Correct. We should depend on ObamaCare to automatically Death Panel us.]

How do we pay for all this shit?

[From Obama's stash, you fool.]

A journalist might take this as a great topic for an article

["Leftwing WRP Saved By Big Pharma."]

To the cost of doxycycline. Back in the mid Nineties, it would cost you about $ 30 to $ 45 a month if you were fighting an infection and needed it. Now that Big Pharma has realized that so many tens of thousands of Americans who need this drug for their battle against Lyme's disease, the cost has sky rocketed. It can cost a person around $ 2,000 a month.

[Just cross the border to Mexico, you lazy moron, and the moment you are on the other side there are tons of Farmacias that sell those same drugs for about the price of a case of cerveza for a month's supply. I used to take the Tijuana Trolly a bunch of time to get meds for my parents that way.]

god damn mother f@#%ing throw mad used car asshole piece of 4236@#$^^$!!!

[Ahh! Stirring up memories of Yesterday Pitt before he was SAVED by Big Pharma.]

Will sounds like they are getting the medication DESPITE our current system, not BECAUSE of it

[Correct. DESPITE ObamaCare, not BECAUSE of it.]

Any chance you may consider self-deleting that other thread? Not that I am super team sportsy, but I do really hate Repukes and the less ammo they have the better.

[Too late to send it to the Memory Hole. That thread has already been featured in the DUmmie FUnnies. Oh, and also in NewsBusters!]

Will deserved all he got and more. He mischaracterized the problem from the beginning, criticized the wrong people, acted like he was the only person in history to ever deal with this issue, and basically behaved liked a horse's ass.

[And worst of all, he credited Big Pharma for coming to the rescue.]

But I doubt WP will ever give you or anyone else thanks for helping him.

[How about giving thanks to Big Pharma who really did help him?]

WP's aversion to correction is rotten to it's core.

[WP will get over his aversion to correction in just 24 business hours.]

May I ask the name of the medication ?

[Low Dose Aspirin.]

So glad your wife will be getting her meds.

[Thanks to Big Pharma.]

You owe Obama an apology

[Mr. President, I apologize for voting for you twice. What the hell was I thinking?]

I wonder what day you are going to be on FOX? I'm sure they will be happy to air your success with your health care.

[Pitt will be on FOX right after he appears in the AFP anti-ObamaCare ad.]

Great news! Now how about an apology to DU for the big shit you took on our President?

[Don't try that in Venezuela. No toilet paper.]

So. Obama somehow magically got the drug company to help us after his legislation delivered us to an insurance company that f*cked us over...thus, I should apologize? Truly magical thinking.

[That was Pitt angrily responding. And its true. Obama and ObamaCare didn't help him a bit. It was Big Pharma that saved the family Pitt.]

LOL. Now you're a shill for big pharma? too funny.

[Shhh! Don't remind us of Pitt's heresy or he risks a major Tombstoning.]

I swear, you're blind and you're stubborn and your angry posts, recommended by your choir of sycophants, do nothing to advance the cause.

[So what is it about Pitt that you don't like?]

Freudenschade! Will Pitt Angrily Turns Against ObamaCare

So where have I been for the past couple of months? Well, I decided to take a week's break which turned into two weeks until I wanted to come back in a big way with a HUGE story. Unfortunately no DUmmie thread was big enough for me so I continued procrastinating.....until now.

And now I have a story that is HUUUUUGE. Like earthquake huge. In fact, it might even make the news services. So what is it? It is that WILLIAM RIVERS PITT, the perpetrator of the Karl Rove Indictment Fraud and many other foibles, has now turned violently against Obamacare in a big way. It's going to be mighty tough for Harry Reid to write off Will as a "rightwing" shill. But in order to fully appreciate the full Freudenschade of this moment, let us journey back to last December when Will was all sweetness and light as he happily anticipated signing on to ObamaCare as you can see in this DUFU EDITION:

Well, I just had my first experience with the Healthcare.gov website...

[Yes, yes, Will. Tell us all about the joys of ObamaCare that you haven't even experienced yet.]

Creating a user name and account: easy.
Plowing through all the questions: easy.

[Pulling a complete 180 on ObamaCare: easy.]

Alas, I logged out to track down some personal info, and when I tried to log back in, it said the system was currently down.

[That should have been your lucky break from ObamaCare but you didn't take advantage of it. Hee! Hee!]

...but then, Ermahgerd! A phone number: 800-318-2596

[And now you are dialing 800-SOS-HELP!]

And it's toll-free, too!

[Pitt freebied his way into getting ripped off.]

So I'll be calling in the morning to finish the process.

[Oh, they'll finish you off alright. Hee! Hee!]

No. Big. Deal.

[Big. Rip. Off.]

Thanks, Obama.

[As we shall see, Will will be telling something to Obama a bit stronger than "Thanks." That was back in December, so how does Pitt feel about ObamaCare now that he has actually experienced it? Pitt told us yesterday in very strong words about What I've learned about the Affordable Care Act.]

What I've learned after a three-month war with these fiends: the ACA says the insurance companies cannot deny coverage to those with pre-existing conditions, which is true as far as it goes. But they can deny coverage for the life-saving medications necessary to treat those conditions. The insurance company I signed up with through the ACA exchange just denied coverage of my wife's multiple sclerosis medication. We're "covered," to the tune of $700 a month...just not for what she really needs.

[Perhaps Pitt needs to get a permit slip from an ObamaCare Death Panel for proper coverage. Don't say you weren't warned in advance, Will. Much as it might cause you more grief...Sarah Palin was RIGHT!]

A cozy loophole, that.

[Consult your local Death Panel that Sarah Palin warned you about.]

F*ck you, insurance industry.

[Spread the love, Will!]

F*ck you, Mr. President, you piece of shit used-car salesman.

[RACIST!!!]

From my heart and soul, f*ck you.

[Right about now, Will is ready to drown his problems in a Brosurance keg party as he experiences a case of heavy duty FREUDENSCHADE!!! And now we shall see how his fellow DUmmies respond to Will going rogue on their beloved ObamaCare...]

Hall-of-Fame Bullshit artist....you nailed it the first time 'round...

[Uh-oh! A severe case of DUmmie enmity aimed at our dear Will. So what is Pitt's repsonse?]

I long for a time machine.

[Why? So you can travel back to May 12, 2006 to scream at the previous Will Pitt to NOT post about Karl Rove being indicted?]

I helped, in my own small way, to promote this thing, because of the pre-existing conditions aspect that would benefit my wife. I feel like a f*cking dupe.

[Freudenschade, baby!]

On edit: I AM a f*cking dupe. Last time that happens.

[Trust me, Will. It will happen over and over and over again. You will continue to be an endless source for unintended humor.]

My wife is a breast cancer survivor...and I was in the same boat regarding the pre-existing condition thing...not encouraging to hear that it too was a bait-and-switch...

[Too bad all you Dummies were opposed to de-bate before the switch.]

I knew we were screwed when Billy Tauzin was welcomed with open arms at the WH while the single payer folks were told to take a hike.

[I knew Will was screwed the moment Will posted his happiness with the ObamaCare he had not yet experienced back in December. Freudenschade ALWAYS comes back to bit him in the butt.]

but it's all Lieberman's fault. He forced the president to give big insurance 600 billion dollars a year

[Actually the fault lies with ALL of the Senators who voted for ObamaCare.]

Anger IS a gift, my dear Will, and one you use most effectively. K&R for this most excellent rant.

[K&R for this most excellent freudenschade.]

I wish we'd gotten single payer, but can not understand calling him that. Or putting all the blame on Pres Obama as it is not all hos. Blame congress, ins companies, and even Will for not checking to see if it was covered. It sucks, but to rant at Obama that way? bah

[So BLAME BUSH! It was all his fault.]

So you agree President Obama is a "piece of shit used-car salesman" deserving "f*ck you" on DU?

[Any answer in the affirmative means you are]

They should have pushed for single payer with all their might. When the President took office he had a MASSIVE mandate. Instead the President said that single payer was a bridge too far and would be "too expensive". Well, he knew better. He knew damned well that single payer would have been substantially cheaper but it would lock out the for-profit vulture killers. President Obama deserves considerable blame.

[No, no. Blame Bush. It only makes sense.]

nothing was missed, Pitt is just playing to a certain crowd looking to be popular

[A Temporary Sockpuppet did the same thing in a Newton schoolyard.]

can you look into another plan that might cover it?

[Asked a DUmmie to Will to which Pitt replies...]

There are ten different health insurance companies in NH. According to the independent (family friend, ally) insurance adjuster I spoke to at length this afternoon, pursuing coverage with any of them would be a waste of time. Why? Because - according to dude - the whole "You cannot deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions" thing only applies to insurance companies within the ACA network. You heard all that shit about "Grandfathering." Well, this is that, and all of them will turn us down because they still can. I am in the process of running down the facts of the matter, but family friend and ally was confident enough to basically tell us not to bother.

["If you like your health plan, you can keep it. Period!"]

Ranting on the DU about how awful Obama is won't change anything Hopefully William Pitt will realize that for once.

[Perhaps but his rants do keep us highly entertained.]

what I think is moronic is the poster took the word of some 'personal friend' schmuck that there is nothing else to be done.

[You would prefer that Will consult with a stranger schmuck?]

Are you trying to say Will is an idiot?

[Well... Since you insist on asking...]

YOU are the one calling Will and Me and MILLIONS of others idiots.

[Registered DUmmies automatically qualify for that honor UNLESS they are LOUSY FREEPER TROLLS!]

Will, appeal that decision!

[Get on your knees and beg your local Death Panel!]

It's not the Afordable Care Act. It's the For-Profit-Insurance Act.

[Which up to a few minutes ago most of you DUmmies were hailing.]

Have you appealed the insurer's decision?

[Please, members of the Death Panel, make an exception for us!]

Maybe there is something that was missed, that may help.

[Common sense. That was the something that was missed.]

Mr. Pitt's anger, granted, is basically misplaced. I agree with him on so much - but I think he doesn't go as far as we need to. I believe he still sees capitalism as salvageable given progressive governing.

[Yes, let us go to the Bolshevism of Venezuela where the citizens of the world's most oil-rich nation have to wait on long lines just to get toilet paper.]

Psst. The president didn't write the law.

[He was out golfing when that happened.]

Seriously, wtf. If that is not alerted on or hidden, is calling Pres Obama that is ok per DU Community Standards, I just don't know about this place.

[A DUmmie shocked over the Preezy being called names in DUmmieland to which Will responds...]

He hasn't f*cked you over. Yet. Cope with a different opinion.

[So, Will. Why did you "Lean Forward" in the presence of The One?]

What does the President have to do with your insurance company's formulary?

[Haven't you noticed a certain name in ObamaCare?]

Formularies are not determined by the President, and existed before ACA

[BTW, the DUmmies have discovered a new word that they love to recite over and over and over again in this thread: "Formularies." It is all over the place but I didn't want to bore everybody by repeating it in this DUFU.]

True, formularies existed, but that doesn't mean they SHOULD exist

[Does not believing in the existence of formularies make you a formulatheist?]

Canada has formularies. The UK has formularies. Single payer doesn't work without them. Neither does a system like the ACA. The only way to not have formularies is to nationalize pharmaceutical production, though that ends up just being formularies by another name, since then the government is deciding what drugs to make when.

[You get a nickle every time you mention "formularies" you lucky rich guy.]

Details.. everything is President Obama's fault when it comes to one Will Pitt and his stupid anger issues which need management and is not the gift he pushes.

[Is Anger Management covered by ObamaCare and is Bobo the Hobo one of the providers?]

Is he the insurance adjustor? Did he specifically promise you this medication?

[Pitt was asked about Obama...]

He handed the proces over to them. So, yeah. Buck stops.

[The buck stops with the golf caddy.]

But coming on DU and getting all dramatic and pouty? It's an old act, Will--it's immature and it's not getting that "Ooooh....ahhhhhhhhhh" reaction anymore. No, the ACA is not perfect but YOU didn't do your due diligence, either. And calling the POTUS childish names isn't going to fix your situation, it just makes you look like a petulant jerk.

[Perhaps Will can get that Ooooh.....ahhhhhhh" reaction by announcing that Karl Rove has been indicted again.]

And the President of the United States personally f*cked you over? Get off it and get over yourself.

[Will will get over himself in just 24 business hours.]

Jury left it 3-3...some people can do/say whatever they want with no repercussions. That's something I'd expect to see at the cave, freeperville, etc. Not here.

[Don't forget the DUFUs. We're baaaaaaack again!]

This whole thread is just about one of the most cringe inducing, moronic things I've ever seen here. The OP needs to go sit his ass down somewhere.

[Where? On the couch of Jason Leopold's shrink?]

Really. Misplaced anger.. but the President is always handy when it comes time for will pitt to get his pos rage on.

[Isn't Bobo the Hobo available?]

It IS Obamacare that is the cause of Will and his wife's problem.

[HERETIC!!!]

I don't like him either because he tends to *ahem, exaggerate things for reasons that I can only guess at.

[Just wait 24 business hours and you will see that Will didn't exaggerate about the Rove indictment.]

Yeah this sucks. I am terrified of losing my insurance through my employer because I do have pre-existing conditions and if I have to go onto the ACA there is a good chance I will be in the same boat.

[Pitt responds in his typical humane manner...]

It's a f*cking shark tank. Tie a pork chop around your neck if you jump in; maybe it'll be over quicker.

[It will all be over in 24 business hours.]

I am feeling a bit scared for him if that is him. I hope he was hacked. We democrats are supposed to be above the juvenile name calling and be proactive with finding solutions. We can solve this problem if we work together. We all want single payer.

[So in the meantime let us all PRETEND to like ObamaCare even though we really hate it.]

So it was covered before, and now isn't? And the entire ACA would be just fine, it if met one person's specific needs only? You'd throw out coverage of everyone else over this? And why not f*ck Congress and Joe Lieberman? What did you think the president was, a magician who could just make them pass a good single payer system? I wish we had that too, and no doubt so does Obama. But not enough of our fellow citizens do.

[Slammed the DUmmie in Will's direction to which Pitt responds...]

You're missing the point. They are providing general coverage, and then denying coverage for specific medications. Which makes the general coverage useless. My wife can go get a free scan that shows how fast her disease is ravaging her, because she doesn't have the medication she needs. Shell game, tree.

[And now Will feels DUmb for back in December playing the ObamaCare Shill game.]

And I was right. Will lives in New Jersey.

[Know-It-All Nadin only got the "New" part right.]

It's these kind of inexcusable problems with the ACA. That made passing the bill before we could see what was in it a real problem. I am afraid there will be many more people in a similar situation before it gets any better.

[As Nancy said, you had to pass the bill in order to find out what was in it..]

It isn't what was promised, we were lied to, and people are suffering for it.

[It took an effort to earn that Lie of the Year.]

Oh hell! I'm so sorry, Will.

[Is that you, Kathleen Sebelius?]

The ACA waw written the way it was through the efforts of two people: Rahm Emanuel and Liz Fowler.

[Wasn't that waw also written by Bawbwa Wawa?]

nybody else would have gotten an instant tombstone. It's almost like you are magic, man.

[Unless Will stumbles over Bobo the Hobo again.]

Congratulations Mr. Pitt. You are the Free Republic's favorite DUmmie today!!!!

[Also at the DUmmie FUnnies.]

The OP has been silenced. Post hidden and OP locked out. There won't be any more responses on this thread from him.

[Sniff! No more unintended humor from OPitt. However, a family members comes to the rescue.]

The OP crossed the line for me because I know that he knows better. And I believe there are probably options that would allow his wife to get what she needs, but he doesn't wanna talk about that. He wants to use it as an opportunity to talk down to Barack Obama using subhuman terminology.

[And here comes the reply from Raven aka Mama Pitt...]

Oh, you are so wrong!

[And finally...]

. Is this one of those Will Pitt rants that will be completely retracted in two days? Those are fun.

[Especially since it will give us the opportunity to play Will's theme song, "Self-Recanted Evening."]
