Outrage Over Senate Voting Against Gitmo Prisoner Release Into USA

The KOmmies are all upset over the fact that the Senate overwhelmingly voted AGAINST funding the release of the Gitmo terrorists into the USA. They are angry at the Senate Democrats for "caving" in to the EVIL Republicans. Their cheerleader is Air America radio host, Cenk Uygur, who posted this KOmmieland THREAD, "World's Dumbest Talking Point Gets Traction." So let us now watch the KOmmies work themselves into a rage over the Senate Democrats not voting to bring the terrorists into the USA in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, remembering the problems caused by the Mariel prisoners incarcerated here, is in the [brackets]:

World's Dumbest Talking Point Gets Traction

[Thanx to the Senate Democrats.]

For weeks now, Republicans have been talking about how we can't bring Guantanamo detainees to the US as if we'd be bringing them in for a picnic. They have pretended that bringing them to the US is the same thing as releasing them out in the middle of Kansas or Oklahoma (or right by Ground Zero as the dumbass Peter King suggested). We've talked about this on our show from time to time to mock them mercilessly, but I didn't bother writing about it because who would be dumb enough to believe this inane talking point? Well, now we have our answer. Almost the entire Senate.

[Gee, for a group that is supposedly irrelevant, the Republicans sure seem to have a lot of influence.]

They just voted 90-6 to say that the Obama administration cannot have the funds they need to close Gitmo and bring the detainees for trial here in the US. Rep. King was outraged at the idea that the people who carried out 9/11 would be tried near Ground Zero. Where the hell else would they be tried? That's where the crime happened. That's how our system works. Where are we supposed to try them - on Mars?

[How about we try them in Gitmo, safely away from the mainland?]

FBI Director Robert Mueller testified today in Congress that if they are even held in a prison in the US, they could radicalize the other prisoners. Here are some of the other prisoners at the Supermax in Colorado - the Oklahoma City bomber Terry Nichols, World Trade Center bombers Ramzi Yousef and the Blind Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman, the Unabomber Ted Kaczynski, the Olympic Park bomber Eric Rudolph. Who are the Gitmo detainees going to radicalize, the Unabomber?

[So we should listen to an Air America host rather than the FBI Director?]

The Senate needs to stop giving into Republican fear mongering and recognize that it's about time that we brought the Gitmo detainees to justice here in the United States.

[Bring them into the USA so we can lawyer them up. And now for the KOmmie reaction...]

I'm from Massachusetts. We'll take four. C'mon, you other states; step up.

[Lots of Boston attorneys would love to lawyer them up free.]

Weak Reid probably wears diapers. He is a disgrace, get that man out of the so-called "Majority Leader" position, he acts more like a five-deferment wimpy bed wetter.

[Reid prefers Depends.]

Why do you think a small number of the detainees probably committed enough crimes to put them in jail for the rest of their lives? Why is this more probable than that none of them did?

[All are innocent! Give them blanket amnesty and ship them to Boston.]

They can stay in my apartment if they want. Though I think I can only comfortably house two or three, they won't have to pay rent. All I'll ask is that they teach me their native language. No deal if that's English, though.

[Don't forget to fluff their pillows when they go beddy bye.]

I saw Reid on television saying that the Senate was not going to vote to "release" these terrorists onto US streets. I was gobsmacked. WTF is up with Harry Reid?

[I think it is called "re-election."]

it looks like having lost the election, the Republican hold on the American soul is nonetheless unbroken.

[Yup!]

I think Reid sounded so ridiculous because he was lying, plain and simple. Dems don't do pandering to the lowest common denominator well and it annoys me when I see the leadership even try.

[He needed to match the Speaker of the House.]

I'll share my apartment with one and show him what Americans REALLY think of their government.

[Serve him lunch at noon and get your head sawed off at One.]

We know the Bush administration tortured people in Gitmo. That really complicates prosecuting them.

[Who is "we," Kimosabe?]

The real reason they're so afraid of closing Gitmo is that it will reveal how many of the prisoners are not, actually "really bad people." It's all about covering asses, not scary terrorists.

[Considering the latter statment, Ben Burch would love to replace Big Bob as a Gitmo guard.]

Feingold gave a good speech about how this whole argument was a joke, then voted against the funding. Incredible.

[Yeah, I need to hear Russ's explanation of that vote.]

Honestly!

Did these lackwits expect ANY politician with the sense God gives little clams to have "YES! I voted to bring terrorists to this country!" on their records??

One outrage, one death, one conspiracy, heck, one "spitting on the sidewalk" ticket and Joe Politico would be in the pillory, if not doing the hemp fandango from the nearest hefty branch.

Sheesh! What next? Sanctuary for the poor and oppressed Swine Flu virus?

If they are not due for the chop, repatriate these bozos, forcibly if necessary, and let their own governments deal with them.

We do not have to take out (or in) the world's trash.

No one is advocating "releasing" terrorists in the USA. NO ONE.

Christ. Do you dumbshits actually believe Obama wants to bring Gitmo to US soil and then release the the prisoners? Just let em go? The answer, once again, is yes, you do. Why? Because you're all batshit crazy. I've encountered mastodons with brain worm who are smarter than you dumbfucks.

Troggy, I have no doubt you have intimate knowledge of brain worms and actually believe that you have "encountered" a mastodon.

It shows.

Now, do you honestly believe that Uber-Liberal Leftist, agenda-driven candyass judges WON'T release ANY of these vermin?

"Oh, it's Amerikkka's fault they are so angry, if we just show them what freedom is..."

The liberal weeping and wailing, the MSM lining up, nose-in-tail, "humanitarian" demands all being squawked by NIMBY release-niks would be deafening. "Just let them go! (In some other state, of course.)"

No. This camel is not getting one jihadi nostril under the tent flap.

They can stay where they are and be tried by a military tribunal, and, if released, be repatriated or fobbed off on any sucker country that wants them. They're not coming here to collect welfare and incite other morons to violence.

You're dead wrong on this one.

Even putting them into regular U.S. jails is a bad idea. Look at the four terrorists just arrested. Where did they meet? Prison.

I really don't want any more hardcore terrorists than we already have to be recruiting in the prisons.

Well, Troggy, you're obviously a credulous little thing where Leftist oratory is concerned, since you take the words alone as the whole of the case, instead of thinking through the consequences (No wonder you're a dedicated Obamite, then, I suppose).

Bring them into the US and try them in US courts as the words say. Then what happens? Under US criminal law, evidentiary exclusionary rules apply, resulting in many acquittals due to lack of admissible evidence. Further, any of them that convince a judge that it's more likely than not they were 'tortured' (As the judge sees it), get a directed 'Not guilty' verdict as a sanction against the government, and thus, so in fact DO get released, especially when they claim amnesty due to the harsh treatment they expect to receive from the government now running their former home, so they stick around under 'Catch and release' rules for several years while that gets fought out in the courts. Mere politically-opportune words notwithstanding, the actual effect is indeed release of many of them into the civil population if we bring them here and attempt to try their cases in our Article III courts.

I realize that since this involves reality, it's probably over your head, but others may benefit from it.

Trog,

Obama may not want to release the Gitmo prisoners into the American public; but, if you read the thread, there are many demented, brain-wormed Kosites who do:

I'll share my apartment with one and show him what Americans REALLY think of their government, and

They can stay in my apartment if the want. Though I think I can only comfortably house two or three.

Yeah, they are crazier than shithouse rats (maybe crazier than you, dumbfuck). But it would make for great reality TV on FOX.

Hay, troggy, who's the real dumbfuck here? I would say that it's you, who is as batshiot crazy as the rest of the DUmmes who can't understand what will happen when those detainees are transferred to a federal prison under jurisdiction of the criminal justice system, which is just what Obama is proposing.

What you seem to have forgotten, troggy, is that the Constitution guarantees that the detainees will be released as soon as they are transferred to a federal prison. The 6th Amendment clearly states that "In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed." The terrorists haven't committed any crime in any federal district. This is why those detainees are MILITARY prisoners, and not criminal prisoners, why they are being held in a MILITARY prison and not a federal prison.

Even a dumbfuck like you, troggy, should realize that the detainees haven't committed any crime in any federal district and no criminal charges could be brought against them so there is no legal means to detain them in a federal prison and the courts would order their immediate release. I can't believe that Obama, who, I am told, taught Constitutional Law, has also failed to realize this.

Hay, troggy, where do you think those terrorists will be released when their brought to the US? Do you think they'll be released back in Afghanistan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, or any other country that already told us that they don't want them and won't take them? No, they'll be released right here in the US.

"They're not coming here to collect welfare and incite other morons to violence." He/She who shall not be named.

You fucking pussy. Do you actually believe the same purpose being carried out at Gitmo can't be carried out here? Do you think because the prisoners are in Gitmo that you're not paying for it? Are you actually under the persuasion that these prisoners are going to be released in the US and then PUT ON WELFARE? You...dumb...fuck. Christ.

Are you aware of how many terrorists we have currently locked up? No. Are you aware of how many of them have incited other morons to violence. No. The answer is ZERO terrorists have escaped and ZERO terrorists have incited others to firstly escape and, secondly, make havoc.

You're absolutely full of shit, He/She. Not even scary. Funnily paranoid. Scared of everything.

BOO!!!

You get to the heart of it, ray. If you haven't noticed, Obama has continued to uphold military tribunals and state secrecy much to the consternation of progressive liberals.

Let me ask you this: How do you make testimony gathered through torture legal under the Constitution? Maybe a teacher in Constitution Law gets hung up here. Obama stops the torture because he knows it's illegal. But, he's got a bunch of known bad-asses who've been tortured which makes their testimony, under the Constitution, unsustainable.

I, troglaman, have no idea how he's going to get out this cluster fuck. But Obama, did not make this critical error, you jackasses did.

So the fuck what, Smitty. Do you want me to start quoting equally crazy threads from RedState, RWN, or Stormfront? I, troglaman, can. And you know it. Are you suggesting you and I aren't able to differentiate what's a nutbag thead and what isn't?

250 (or so) prisoners from Gitmo will not present a national security problem for the US if they are put here. Anyone saying differently is fucking crazy. That's just the truth.

I know it works a little differently in your native Disneyworld, but here in reality those prisoners have cells they can easily retreat to. Hell, it only took 19 of them to bring down a couple of really big buildings and a good chunk of another. You do the maths, cupcake.

Do they? (mr reality smarty-pants)

Name one cell. Name one fact. Name one person who KNOWS there's terrorists cells the prisoners can easily retreat to. Has anyone ever found one, lurking in the desert, dangerously waiting to highjack the prisoner transports? Has anyone found a secret terrorist camp near a maximum security prison? One?

Nope.

Full of shit. Completely. His cup runneth over. Glass not empty but sadly full and overflowing with stinky offal.

Moon Rockets? You're projecting again, you crazy bastard. You're the goddamn moon rocket. Get that through your friggin head.

However, killing the Gitmo prisoners by strapping them to a Moon Rocket is a truly inventive idea. Who would know what the hell really happened? Their dried husks would be on the way to the fucking moon. Brilliant.
